Wingspan Portfolio Advisors is a specialty servicing enterprise that applies advanced servicing techniques to turn non-performing mortgage loans into re-performing assets. The company gives servicers, investors and other stakeholders, such as mortgage insurance companies, a newfound ability to save loans that otherwise would have gone to foreclosure.

Wingspan Portfolio Advisors specializes in handling “low value” transactions, those in which there is little equity left to reclaim, little hope of borrower recovery and sometimes too small a loan amount to make it worth a great deal of effort on the part of the lender.

The company was founded and is led by servicing industry veteran Steven Horne, a lawyer who formerly served as director of Servicing Risk Strategy with Fannie Mae and has held numerous other positions dealing with troubled loans. Wingspan Portfolio Advisors’ senior management team has over 125 years of collective specialty loan servicing experience, focusing on severely delinquent first and second mortgages for lenders, servicers and investors.
